Day Seven of Writing-102: Fingers

Today’s prompt: Fingers
Today’s form: Prose poetry
Today’s device: Assonance (Ha! So much for that one! :-))

Finger of God

Like a feather dancing upon the wind
His finger dances above the universe.
He sets the earth to motion with a word,
Stars flinging, nature singing from below.
Hearts are healed and hope restored with
A wave of his hand. Like a father playing
The piano for his child, God plays upon
the hearts of those who love Him. Can you
Hear Him? Can you feel Him? He’s there.
